Fit Moms Don’t Quit stands for Faith In Training Moms Don’t Quit. Being a mom is the best job in the world, but it can also be one of the most stressful jobs in the world. It’s hard to do everything right, to be everything for your children, and try to find that balance between being a good mom and juggling everything else life throws your way.
As I embarked on the journey of being a wife, mom, and career woman my life was great, I had no complaints. I was living a dream and as with every dream you must wake up. One sunny day in April of 2016, I found out that my husband was having an affair with his co-worker. Five months later he left our family and started a new life with his co-worker and her children. This resulted in two divorces, unexplainable pain, and a lot of unanswered questions. Devastated and court ordered to stay in a city with no blood family, I sunk into a deep depression. I had to figure out how to function as a single mother to my 4-year-old son, while my heart was breaking, and my world was falling apart.
I was grasping for hope in a very dark valley. I cried out to God for strength to keep going and for acceptance of my new reality. It took almost two years to pull myself together spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. My relationship with God has always been strong, but this experience increased my faith and strengthened my walk with God.
As I connected with other mothers, I realized that we all have a story, a trial, or a test of faith that has strengthened our journey as mothers. From my journey the Fit Moms Don’t Quit idea came to life. Fit Moms Don’t Quit is a brand of women's clothing and other products for the everyday mom. Regardless of if you are a stay at home mom, work from home, work outside the home, adopted your child, gave birth, or fostered, all moms have something in common…we love our children and will do whatever it takes to ensure they have the best.
As Fit Moms we Don’t Quit, this often means we are walking by faith, taking the next step, and trusting God when we can’t see how it will work out.
